The Atlanta Falcons will trade former starter and All-Pro Michael Vick upon completion of his sentence for criminal convictions related to dogfighting.

Twinkies maker is out of Chapter 11

Twinkies maker, Interstate Bakeries, emerges from Chapter 11 bankruptcy after 4 years. Under the reorganization plan, private equity firm Ripplewood Holdings will invest $130 million in the company and take it private. Ripplewood will own a 50 percent stake in the company.
Silver Point Finance is also providing $339 million to fund the company’s bankruptcy exit, while a credit agreement with GE Capital will provide about $125 million.

The bankruptcy judge in Michael Vick’s case approves the sale of his Atlanta home, as well as the sale of some of his cars and boats. Vick purchased the home in 2005 for $3.7 million. The home was originally listed for $4.5 million. After being on the market for over a year, and a $400,000 price reduction, the home will go on the auction block.
